Ron Trentham, who also writes under the pen name RT Dixon, is a Tennessee author with a passion for telling stories that stay with readers long after the final page. His writing spans several genres, from chilling gothic horror and supernatural mysteries to suspenseful thrillers, heartfelt romance, and touching stories about the bonds between people and animals.

His published works include Alastar Heights, September 10th, 2008: The Day Reality Shifted, and the multi-part Mort series. Through his The Long Way Home series, Trentham explores friendship, loyalty, courage, and the special connection between humans and their animal companions.

Whether he's writing about parallel realities, unexplained mysteries, love, loss, or the search for belonging, Trentham brings human emotion to his stories. He believes even the darkest moments can hold a little light and that some of the most powerful stories come from ordinary lives and extraordinary circumstances.

In 2026, Trentham began another chapter in his creative journey, stepping into the world of songwriting and music recording under his own name, Ron Trentham. His first musical releases include the gospel recording He Never Let Me Go and the personal tribute Spencer: Five Months and Three Weeks. Drawing from his own experiences and emotions, he brings the same storytelling approach to his music that has shaped his books. His recordings are available through major digital music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, iTunes, and YouTube Music.

For Trentham, writing and music share something important. Both offer a way to tell stories, preserve memories, and reach people through experiences and emotions they recognize in their own lives. While his journey into music is just beginning, his love for storytelling continues to guide everything he creates.

When he's not writing or exploring new musical ideas, Trentham enjoys traveling, meeting people from all walks of life, relaxing at home, and finding inspiration in the everyday moments that often go unnoticed. He believes everyone has a story worth telling. Sometimes, all it takes is someone willing to listen.

Today, Ron Trentham continues writing under both his own name and RT Dixon while developing new music under the name Ron Trentham, bringing his stories to life through both books and song.
